The word yoga translates to ‘union’. It is a practice that connects the body, mind and spirit through different body postures, meditation and controlled breathing.
Yoga is an expression of life. Yoga essentially means finding the keys to the nature of one’s existence, weight loss, a strong and flexible body, glowing beautiful skin, a peaceful mind, and good health. Yoga is only partially understood as being limited to Asanas (traditional Yoga poses). As such, it is purely a physical practice resulting in our failure to realise the immense benefits of uniting the body, mind and breath.
